Athletics, tug of war, wrestling and gymnastics in the Olympic Stadium (architect: Torben Grut, capacity 37,500 spectators, cinder track with a length of 383 meter) fencing in the Ostermalm-tennis, shooting in Kaknas, (rifle and pistol) and Rasanda (hunting parts), modern pentathlon in Kaknas, Djurgardsbrunnviken, Ostermalm, Barkaby and in the Olympic stadium, equestrian in Linda ranks and in the Olympic stadium, cycling on the track around the lake in Liljeholmen Malar, swimming, diving and water polo in Djurgardsbrunnviken (swimming stadium with a bath of 100 meter length, spectator capacity: 2700), rowing in Djurgardsbrunnviken, sailing in Nyhashamn, football in Trane Berg, Rasunda, and in the Olympic stadium, lawntennis at the the tennis courts in Ostermalm, indoor tennis at the tennishall in Ostermalm.
